Kate Winslet is in negotiations to join Idris Elba in The Mountain Between Us, Fox 2000’s adaptation of the Charles Martin book.
Hany Abu-Assad (Paradise Now) is directing the film, which is being produced by Chernin Entertainment’s Peter Chernin and Jenno Topping.
The romantic drama tells of a woman, engaged to be married, and a surgeon who charter a plane to get them home after inclement weather delays their flight. When the plane crashes in a snowy wilderness, the two must work together to survive.
