Well-known Palestinian journalist Dima Al Khatib is in town, and she’ll be giving a talk at the American University of Sharjah.
The university’s Mass Communication Club will be hosting a talk by Al Khatib on her experience as an Arab female journalist. Al Khatib is currently Al Jazeera’s Latin America bureau chief and was a live news producer in Doha during the Iraq War (media aficionados may remember that she was featured in the documentary Control Room about Al Jazeera’s coverage of the Iraq War).
