Hind honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award

Shaikha Hind Bint Maktoum Bin Juma Al Maktoum, wife of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has won the Lifetime Achievement Award as part of the Arab Woman Awards UAE 2014 in recognition of her contributions to women’s issues and her outstanding role in supporting women in social work.

Shaikha Hind said the achievements made by UAE women in all walks of life, including social work, are normal outcomes due to the great support and care extended by the UAE leadership to Emirati women, in line with the directives of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Shaikh Mohammad, towards empowerment of UAE women and supporting them to be on an equal footing with their male counterparts.
