The U.S. Commerce Service offices in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait will be hosting a webinar this month to discuss their respective healthcare markets.

The online event will touch on trends and opportunities in hospital operation and management, education and training services, eHealth and Health Information Systems.

Government officials and private sector experts will share their visions for the current and future direction of the healthcare sector, planned investments and the U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service’s Healthcare Trade Mission to Saudi Arabia and Kuwait scheduled to take place between April 23 to 28, 2016. Both the Saudi and Kuwait governments have been heavily investing in the sector in recent years to address the needs of their growing populations and rising rate of chronic diseases.

The United States Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration (ITA), U.S. Chamber of Commerce and organizers of the Saudi-American Healthcare Forum (SAHF) are organizing and supporting the Healthcare Technology & Hospital Information Services Trade Mission to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait to introduce U.S. firms to the rapidly growing healthcare sectors in the two countries.

To strengthen the competitiveness of U.S. industry, the ITA works “to promote trade and investment and ensure fair trade” while working to improve “the global business environment and helps U.S. organizations compete at home and abroad.”

The event will be held on December 9 at 10 a.m. EST. To register for the free webinar, visit their website.
