Born in Bahrain in 1978, Waheeda is a graduate of the University of Bahrain in graphic design. She is a member of the Bahrain contemporary art association and has produced multiple projects. Represented by Al Riwaq Gallery, her residency at The Townhouse Gallery of contemporary art in 2005 has launched her to an international audience.
