“Parking Unconventionally”
It doesn’t matter where you are in America; if there is a reason to go to the mosque, there are some Muslims who will knowingly find places to park that will get them in trouble with the law. We all know this as a fact of Muslim life. But where did this habit originate from? Suffice it to say, it has to do with generosity and good will towards men of all creeds and ethnicities.
Muslims want what is best for society. Sometimes, they do things that outwardly make little sense but inwardly are magnanimous. When a Muslim double parks encasing multiple other cars in his wake causing the encased parties to be furious, he is teaching them a valuable lesson. This is a lesson of patience and also demonstrating the ephemeral nature of this world. We can’t be attached to such trivial things such as cars, jobs, places to be, or even legalities for that matter. If you find yourself unable to move your car after praying at the mosque, you’ve just been rewarded with the gift of enlightenment which is surely better than any trivial activities you were trying to hurry off to (e.g. taking your sick mother to the hospital or any other silly medical emergency).
Another reason Muslims may park with a seemingly attitude of disdain for the law, is because they love the country they reside in and would like to support it wholeheartedly. Sometimes this means intentionally getting parking tickets just so they can pay them to increase the revenue of their local government. If their car gets towed, it’s a bonus! Not only will they pay the government a fee, they will also help stimulate their local economy by funding local towing businesses. These Muslims really are looking out for everyone in society, when you sit down and think about it.
You might be feeling really silly about judging these people and I hope your eyes have been opened to the magnanimity that Muslims employ at every available opportunity.
