America, it seems that for the past few years, we have been fighting the wrong enemy. We launched the “War on Terror” to bring about a safer, more secure world. We flew brave young men and women to Afghanistan to fight the Taliban and to Iraq for God knows what reason, yet all this time the threat had been living in our back yards. And thanks to the Muslim Brotherhood, we now know the real threat facing this world: Beyonce. Cue sinister music (and afterward, can you maybe play “Single Ladies?")

Earlier this month, an Egyptian member of the Muslim Brotherhood pronounced Beyonce a threat to “social peace and security.” Now I’m not sure where to place her on the scale between Al-Qaeda and the Taliban, but just know that she is dangerous, folks. She is armed with fierce outfits and catchy beats and there is no telling how she will use them.

This same man, Hamdi Hassan (in case you want to send him a thank you letter for saving your life), was outraged that the government would allow such “sin and debauchery” to take place in Egypt, saying, “I do not know who agreed to this sinful, unacceptable advertisement, or indeed who agreed to these blatant sex parties.”
Now, I’ve never been to a “sex party” but from what I can tell, there are divas and pop music there. But if we are using these requirements, then “sex parties” happen all the time in Egypt and with their very own Arab pop stars. Don’t believe me? Check out even the first few seconds of music videos from Haifa Wehbe and Roubi. Nope, no sex party here.

Thankfully, Egyptians have brave people like Hassan to stand up to Beyonce’s blatant display of ... what is that called again? Oh yeah, talent. We wouldn’t want things to get out of hand, people.

Well, she is Sasha FIERCE! I agree - why do people lose focus on the important things like war and disease???!??! Baffling.
