Bethlehem lights up for Christmas

A Christmas tree stands in the courtyard of the Nativity Church in the West Bank town of Bethlehem after the lighting ceremony December 6, 2014. 

Occupied Bethlehem lit up its Christmas tree in Manger Square on Saturday as the countdown to Christmas began.

Hundreds of Palestinians gathered for the lighting ceremony which was followed by a fireworks display.
